ABOUT
Bacon is the most miserable, lonely creature you can imagine. He's different from the others. Like a butterfly in a cage full of moles. Until one day his world gets turned upside down as he accidentally destroys Father Time's hourglass. He can't die anymore and suddenly has to deal with the phantoms of his former lives. And while the forces of darkness try to take advantage of Bacon's newly acquired talent, he finds himself in the center of a massive conspiracy.
'To Hell With Dave' is a narrative-driven adventure platformer for the connoisseur of the absurd. Explore a world full of charming characters and twisted humor. If you're a fan of challenging action, wacky puzzles and foul language, this game is for you!
GAMEPLAY
'To Hell With Dave' is like a coop game, but you play it all by yourself. Every time you die, you create a ghost that is either helpful or makes your life more difficult.

ABOUT THE DEMO
The demo includes the first 20 minutes of the game. The order of the levels has been changed to have a quick and solid introduction to the game mechanics. Also, some passages have been made easier to ensure a quick play through. I hope you like where it goes, and I would love to hear your feedback!

'To Hell With Dave' needs a DirectX version missing on your computer. Please install the Microsoft DirectX June 2010 Redistributable (directx_Jun2010_redist.exe) included in the download folder.

The demo was hilarious yet challenging...
This game is so much fun! I was pulled into the story and it was boy tough to handle the rooms of roaming chainsaws, but with a little help from the ghosts and bit of planning, the background designs are memorizing and the character animation are so cool! I was able to get past them quickly. I can’t to see the full release when it comes out soon!

Ohhh, old school shenanigans! I love it! That abhorrent humour mixed with nostalgia really made this for me.
Of course, everything else came together great too! The platforming / puzzle elements (even though I had to wimp out of normal mode to actually beat the demo), the fantastic characters and the way they "talk" (mumble-talk is one of the best things!) and the heartwarming... or heartsearing perhaps... story of one poor guy who doesn't fit in and wants to be somewhere else. Ahhh, it's beautiful!
The backgrounds are delightful too, the level of detail is outstanding, and that's the kind of thing most people barely notice, so I always appreciate it when extra effort goes into that!
I totally didn't get past the fire / boxes screen like I was meant to either, but a win is a win! And I can't wait to see more of Bacon and this awesome game! Keep up the great work =)

This game was pretty GOOD, I got stuck but I laughed a lot at the sounds the game made and stuff it was pretty unique even given the art style :D

Hi! The game requires the DirectX End-User Runtimes - June 2010. They are missing on your computer, therefore the shaders cannot be compiled. You can download them directly from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
After the installation everything should work!

If anything, I think the kicking animation looks strange. But the lore is funny and awesome!
